Denise and Cortney Laugesen provided solid, courteous, politic, and professional services in the marketing and sale of our home at 701 Burlingame Avenue, Burlingame, CA. They showed a deep understanding of current marketplace, and determined a likely sales price for the home, which was prophetic relative to our more optimistic initial market price; our final sales price was very close to their early predictions. They also suggested key improvements to help the home sell in this challenging market, which we followed. An impressive level of early market interest developed as a result of these improvements my co-owner brother and I made in March and April of 2009. They also proved a contractor list very helpful in making these improvements and repairs. They made a first class advertizing effort in several media and on the internet, as well as a superb job of full-house staging. The Realtor and public open houses were held weekly with excellent advertizing, and large turnouts resulted. These marketing efforts resulted in two separate written offers and one verbal “water testing” offer, and the customers who purchased the home made their initial offer just 5-6 weeks from the listing date; an excellent record in this slow-selling environment. Denise and Cortney also sensed that after 3-4 weeks at the initial asking price, a reduction to her promising an offer from the eventual buyers, who bought the house for 98% of the new asking price. We would not hesitate to recommend the Laugesen Team to any home owners who wish to sell their home for a price well tuned to current market, and with impressive attention to the delicate interactions which always attend a successful real estate transaction.

From the moment we expressed interest in the property, Denise was honest and helpful in providing us with detailed information. She arranged walk-through consultations with various trades-people to discuss home improvements we hoped to make once the purchase was complete. We had recently relocated to Hillsborough form London and were completely new to the house-buying procedure in California. Denise was patient and thorough, guiding us carefully through the process. It was very reassuring to be able to consult with such an experienced Realtor. Since we moved into our new home, Denise has continued to stay in contact with us and is always available to answer any questions we have regarding the property. Because of Denise’s involvement, we have had a very positive and happy house-buying experience. We would highly recommend consulting Denise for any property sale or purchase.
June 14th, 2009 Denise is simply the hardest working real estate agent out there! I've been lucky to work with her to purchase my home, (but she has helped many family and friends before.) I had no idea Denise was this hard working! She is always punctual, incredibly responsive to phone calls and emails as well. She simply knows everything about the local real estate market and what is good and bad about a home. She knows how to get things fixed and will give you her honest opinion on any situation. I knew Denise was a "power" agent when she called a tree guy for a quote while we were at a property and the head of the company showed up in EIGHT minutes. No kidding!
